Abstract

This article discusses the theoretical and practical foundations of improving the logical thinking of students in the course of teaching physics in higher educational institutions. Logical thinking allows students to understand the causal relationships between physical phenomena, consciously build an algorithm for solving a problem, analyze the result of an experiment, and draw scientific conclusions.

The article presents ways to develop analytical, critical and creative thinking of students through problem-based learning, heuristic conversation, logical problems, laboratory experiment, group discussion, comparison method, digital simulations and project tasks. In addition, the most common difficulties in teaching physics were shown and methodological recommendations were given aimed at solving them.

In the course of the study, it was found that the systematic use of logical tasks in physics lessons increases the cognitive activity of students and has a positive effect on the formation of their scientific worldview. Especially, the study of physical laws and phenomena in connection with everyday life strengthens students ' interest in the subject and allows them to effectively apply theoretical knowledge in practice. It was also revealed that the use of modern information and communication technologies, virtual laboratories and interactive platforms improves students ' skills of self-search, analysis and conclusion.

The results of the article allow us to use physics as a methodological basis aimed at improving the quality of teaching in higher educational institutions, the formation of a culture of logical and scientific thinking of students, as well as the development of professional competencies of future specialists.
