This article describes the two basic principles of university management: hierarchical and cyclical. Educational institution is considered as a complex of organizational and technical system. This article describes the formation of the structure of training materials.
The author identifies two key areas of information technology use in the management of an educational organization. The first area is related to the management of a higher education institution as a complex organizational structure, including administrative management, resource planning, coordination of unit activities, monitoring of performance indicators and support for managerial decision-making. The second direction is focused on managing the processes of knowledge transfer, storage and use, organizing the educational process, monitoring student progress, as well as creating a digital educational environment.
The paper reveals in detail two basic principles of university management — hierarchy and cyclicity. The principle of hierarchy reflects a multi-level management structure in which each level performs certain functions and interacts with other elements of the system. The principle of cyclicity characterizes the continuity of the management process, which includes the stages of planning, implementation, control, analysis of results and adjustment of further actions.
