Abstract

The concept of the love as the basis of the Sufi worldview, is also considered a fundamental concept in the worldview of Ahmed Yasawi. According to Yasawi, man can communicate with his Creator only through love. Therefore, every creature has an innate love. Love is a bridge between man and his Lord and a fire that burns everything except the beloved. Without love, there would be no life. Therefore, reason and logic alone are not enough to understand existence. It is impossible to understand the nature of life without divine love. And this feeling is inherent only to man among all living beings. This spiritual state, most suitable for human existence, brings divine and human feelings into line with the purpose of their creation and turns them into the driving force of life. According to the Sufi worldview, the reason for the creation of creatures is the recognition, acceptance and love of Allah Almighty for His creations. Therefore, the exit of creatures to the level of existence is made thanks to the love between the Creator and the creature. Therefore, the concept of divine love occupies an important place in the worldview of Sufis, especially in the work “Divani Hikmet” by Ahmed Yasawi. Knowing that the most important goal of life is to reach the presence of God, Ahmed Yassawi tries to convey this idea with his wisdom and makes every traveler who sets out on this path understand from the very beginning what his goal is. According to Yassawi, the goal of human life is to achieve the status of a lover. The state of being in love is a state of achieving God's bliss, becoming a servant of God, meeting the Infinite, experiencing the state of Unity by renouncing the desires of the material world on the path of love. This is considered a state that a person achieves, first of all, by achieving a state of helplessness (defenselessness) within himself, having abandoned his desires and realizing that the basis of the whole world is the One. For a traveler, simple worship of truth and reality is not enough. At the same time, a person needs a “divine lover” to go beyond his “I/Ego” and see the image of the One in the world of suffering. Only such a person can gain access to the mystery of God.
