Abstract

The modern Kazakh poetry demonstrates a distinct tendency towards the new interpretation of sacred motifs. In this context, the works of Zh. Askerbekkyzy are distinguished by the profound use of mythological, religious, and folklore codes at the poetic level. This issue is relevant not only within the framework of literary studies and poetics but also in the field of linguopoetics.

The article examines the presuppositional aspect of precedent texts in the poetics of Zh. Askerbekkyzy. The purpose of the research is to identify the semantic and pragmatic functions of intertextual units in the author’s works. The study analyzes the use of sacred images in the poet’s works, the transformation of mythological plots, and the representation of national cultural codes.

Precedent texts are considered as semantic structures connected with historical memory within the artistic space. They form a presuppositional basis that allows revealing the implicit content of the text. The research identifies the ways in which the author revitalizes religious and folklore motifs and determines their symbolic and aesthetic significance.

Precedent texts in the poetry of Zh. Askerbekkyzy interact with the reader’s cultural experience and contribute to the formation of a deep semantic layer of the literary work. The article is aimed at the scholarly analysis of the role of intertextual relations in representing the national worldview and defining the functions of precedent units in poetic texts, which contributes to a deeper understanding of the artistic features of contemporary Kazakh poetry.
