The article explores the theoretical foundations of coaching as an effective tool for developing pedagogical leadership in contemporary education. Ongoing transformational changes in the educational environment require reconsideration of the teacher’s professional role and systematic development of leadership potential. In this context, coaching is analyzed as a partnership-based process of professional support that promotes both personal and professional growth of educators.
The study systematizes theories of pedagogical leadership (M. Fullan, A. Hargreaves) and coaching concepts (J. Whitmore, J. Knight) through comparative and content analysis. The findings indicate that coaching enhances reflective thinking, strengthens professional autonomy, develops communicative competence, and fosters emotional stability. Coaching also increases teachers’ professional confidence, stimulates initiative, and contributes to effective collaborative interaction. The results allow coaching to be considered a modern transformational approach to the systematic development of pedagogical leadership.
The results of the study showed that the implementation of coaching technologies in the practice of educational institutions contributes to the effective realization of teachers’ professional potential and improves the quality of education.
