Abstract

The article examines the traditional careful attitude of the Kazakh people toward nature and the environment, which has been formed over many generations. Until recently, the natural environment of local regions remained relatively clean and environmentally stable, and the concept of “ecology” was rarely used in everyday life. However, intensive economic development and increasing anthropogenic pressure have led to the disruption of natural ecological balance.
Modern environmental changes have resulted in the deterioration of environmental quality, particularly atmospheric air, which negatively affects public health. An increase in various diseases associated with adverse environmental factors, as well as a general decline in population health, has been observed. In this context, special attention is paid to the importance of environmental protection, restoration of ecological balance, and the formation of environmental awareness in society.
The article also emphasizes the significance of a comprehensive approach to solving environmental problems, including the improvement of environmental legislation, the introduction of environmentally friendly technologies, and the development of environmental monitoring systems. Enhancing environmental education and public responsibility contributes to reducing negative anthropogenic impacts, improving environmental conditions, and increasing the overall quality of life.
