The article considered the level of pollution of the atmospheric air of Atyrau city with hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) in the autumn–spring period of 2025-2026. The study was conducted on the basis of data from automated monitoring stations" Kazhydromet". The analysis was carried out by Peretaska ANPZ located in industrial zones, Proparka ANPZ and NCOC in residential areas №103, №109, №111, №112, №113 control stations were introduced. The level of atmospheric air pollution was estimated using the ratio of the 95th percentile of h₂s concentrations to the maximum allowable concentration (P95/MPC). According to the results of the study, it was found that the highest indicators of hydrogen sulfide concentration were recorded in March–April 2026. Especially at NCOC stations No. 103 and No. 112 in residential areas, the over-the-top ratio reached values of 6.6 and 6.7, respectively. The results of the study showed that atmospheric air pollution according to H₂S is seasonal in nature and increases in the winter–spring period due to unfavorable meteorological conditions and increased anthropogenic impact. In addition, in the course of the study, it was found that at stations located in close proximity to industrial facilities, there is a high level of pollution. The results obtained indicate the need to improve the system of environmental monitoring in the region, constant monitoring of atmospheric air quality and strengthen environmental measures aimed at reducing harmful emissions.
