The introduction of BIM technologies in construction is an important component of modern digital transformation. BIM serves not only as a 3D-design tool, but also as a comprehensive platform that performs information integration, planning, coordination and management functions between all stakeholders at the stages of the project life cycle. BIM technologies make it possible to reduce design errors, optimize costs, reduce time and improve the quality of construction, and also create conditions for improving the quality of project implementation.
In Kazakhstan, work is underway to develop a regulatory framework for the use of BIM, which provides for the formation of ways for the mandatory implementation of this technology in state and large projects. At the same time, the use of BIM is also being studied in areas such as road and infrastructure construction, which creates conditions for expanding its capabilities.
The advantages of the introduction of BIM into the construction industry include aspects such as effective project management, providing accurate data information at all stages, centralizing project information, and reducing financial and time costs. In addition, the introduction of BIM will increase the opportunities for innovative development of enterprises and open the way to the use of integrated digital systems in the construction industry.
