Abstract

This article examines the problem of word-formation models of verb bases in the Kazakh language. The object of the study is the system of word-formation models of verb bases in Kazakh. In Kazakh linguistics, word-formation models of verb bases have not been fully addressed as an independent subject of research. A systematic description of this issue is provided. The article analyzes the features, functions, place, and role of word-formation models of verb bases in the Kazakh language, considering them in a traditional linguistic context. The development and structure of word-formation models based on root motion verbs are discussed, their part-of-speech organization is identified, and the invariants within the system of names are analyzed. The research results highlight that the materials may be used for lectures, seminars, and special courses in the field of modern Kazakh linguistics at higher educational institutions. The article presents a comprehensive overview of word-formation models of verb bases both in Kazakh linguistics and in general linguistic studies. It describes in detail the structure of word-formation models of verb bases in the Kazakh language, outlines certain related issues, and identifies the order and organization of their components. A lexical-semantic analysis is also carried out, and the models are described. In conclusion, the main findings of the study are summarized.
